A Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) — also called a Good Conduct Certificate — confirms the holder has no criminal record in a given country.
Dubai Police PCC: we submit your application on the Dubai Police app. Foreign PCC: we obtain or attest your home-country PCC through MOFA, UAE Embassy and MOFA Dubai.
Required for UAE Golden Visa, residency renewal, professional licensing, Canada / UK / Australia migration, and many overseas job and study applications.
When you need a police clearance.
PCCs are time-sensitive — most receiving authorities require a certificate issued within the last 3–6 months.
Migration & Visas
Canada, Australia, UK, US and EU permanent residency, citizenship and long-term visa applications.
Employment & Licensing
UAE Golden Visa, DHA / MOH / DOH professional licensing, banking and government job onboarding.
Education & Family
Overseas university admission, child custody, adoption and family sponsorship in third countries.
Your PCC application journey.
Four steps to a fully issued and (where needed) attested police clearance certificate.
- 01
Eligibility Check
We confirm whether you need a Dubai Police PCC, an Emirates-wide UAE PCC or a home-country PCC, and list every supporting document.
- 02
Application & Biometrics
Dubai Police app submission, fingerprint capture if required, and tracking through the police verification stages.
- 03
Issuance
Hard-copy or e-PCC issued by Dubai Police, Ministry of Interior or the home-country authority (e.g. ACRO, FBI, RCMP, MEA).
- 04
Attestation (If Needed)
Home MOFA, UAE Embassy and MOFA Dubai stamps for overseas use — or MOFA Dubai only for foreign PCCs used in the UAE.
Your Document Checklist.
Required documents vary by issuing country and PCC type. In most cases you'll need:
Passport & Emirates ID
Clear colour copy of your passport and Emirates ID (front and back), plus the UAE residence visa page.
Photo & Fingerprints
Recent passport photo and fingerprints — captured at Dubai Police or by a partner station in your home country.
Purpose Letter
Letter from the receiving authority (employer, embassy, university) stating why the PCC is required.
Top Reasons for Rejection.
Expired PCC
Most receiving authorities reject PCCs older than 3–6 months. Re-apply if your existing certificate is dated.
Missing Attestation
A foreign PCC used in the UAE needs MOFA Dubai; a UAE PCC used overseas needs MOFA Dubai + destination-country embassy.
Wrong Jurisdiction
Some authorities require the federal PCC (Ministry of Interior) rather than the emirate-level Dubai Police PCC.
Name Mismatch
Spelling differences between the PCC, passport and Emirates ID block downstream visa and licence applications.
