The consulate serves the large Pakistani community in Dubai — numbering over 400,000 and forming around 13% of the local population, the third largest ethnicity in the city — and is the largest Pakistani consulate in the Middle East.

Pakistan is not a Hague signatory, so Pakistani documents need the full chain: local notary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan authentication, UAE Embassy Islamabad legalisation, and MOFA Dubai.
